Dang- Its been a while!

So, Chicago was tha' bomb! I saw so many places and met so many people! I had a blast! The city is great (just to visit) I would loose my mind trying to find a parking spot, getting directions or messing with the expensive real estate market out there!

I visited the Navy Pier, Sears Tower, Museum, many restaurants including Hard Rock Cafe, clubs like the Excalibur and China town.

I also attended many NRA events and SFM events for the food industry- one highlight was eating breakfast at the Ritz. That was "fancy shmanzy"!

I was amazed at how many homeless peolpe there were in the parks faceing the Hilton! I made sandwiches and fed some of the poor guys out there on my last day...

The Hilton was bomb! I had a "pimp ass" suite with an awesome view! My highlight was visiting a blues bar- man, I can dig the music and the vibe! It was unique! I had to get a shirt and reflect on one of my favorite Zeppelin songs (I can't Quit You Babe). Chicago is blues central!

I did not get to see the Cubs play- and they got into a rumble! I missed that. So, maby next time-

Life at home has been great! My buddy up in Northern New Mexico has an outfitting business. Ha has catered to the likes of James Hetfield from Metallica and I fished out there a few weekends ago with my son Angel- man it felt good to get away!


On our way back Angel got his first taste of Tequila's tampiquena steak in Taos, NM. Man, that steak is the bomb! They make it with a special mexican cream sauce. He also saw the Native American dances during the Fiesta de Taos parade. It was a good get away!
